Story So Far

The tribes of the Yawlung have found themselves in the land of the Gods, having followed Eric the Red to this New world. The land so far has produced many challenges they’d experienced only in legend: warring factions of dark elves, Jotun and light elves; crawling through the belly of a wyrm to find the seed of a world tree; out-tricking tricksters; avoiding the wrath of the Gods; and mists which pick and choose which heroes and allies stand alongside them.

After weathering their attacks, the Yawlung decided it was time to take the fight to the Jotun to give the light elves some respite and do what Vikings do best – RAID! With the aid of Odin’s ravens Munin and Hugin, they were told the secret of how the Jotun travel between the realms. Luckily, one of their number had a small amount of Jotun blood running through his veins and managed to open the gate, flinging the party into a realm unknown to mortals.

Story So Far

Its been three months since the botched hanging of Henry King and the events that followed. His influence has waned after ambushes at Sweetwater and in the valley basin were fended off by the combined strength of its villagers, not only with his numbers lessened but with the death of Mr Miller, one of his most loyal lieutenants in a duel against Malcolm. With his dying words he revealed what Henry King’s treasure truly was: his estranged wife Beulah May, who’d been masquerading as a schoolteacher in Goodwill.

Miss Beulah May hasn’t been since the slaughter at Sweetwater but small groups of the Kingsmen have been sighted in the surrounding area of Juno, still looking for their master’s treasure, but running or hiding when pressed by the law. It seems they are trying smarter tactics to get their girl.

The last three months have been uneasy; the new Sheriff Carver does his best with what he’s got to keep the peace. Goodwill and Sweetwater suffer no more attacks but the valley itself feels the unrest; talk of wagons being attacked by the Riley clan come with the weekly delivery to Mr Wright, who hires more guns to ensure his supplies get through. Rumours fly that they ask for “taxes” – if you pay they let you pass. If not then your tortured and broken body is left for the animals and crows. Other outlaws also seem to be lurking to seek the treasures of Juno valley, it seems the power vacuum left by the Kingsmen has put up a flag for others to see what they can gain from living by their wits on the frontier.

Not all is doom and gloom; at the start of the summer a small group of urchins come to Sweetwater and Goodwill, pinning Flyers where ever they can:

Madame Isabella’s Travelling Circus!

Brings the Strange, the Future and the Majestic to your doors of Sweetwater!

Followed by the Drifter!

His tournaments of death, luck and gold!

Story So Far

The ill-fated British and German expeditions are trapped in a strange land that time and reason have forgotten with no way out.
Betrayed by one of their own, a British Vicar who most definitely does not play cricket, they are now looking for a way home from this place.

Hunted by strange cultists, dinosaurs and eldritch serpent people they have witnessed things that fly in the face of science and what is known. They have met with vindictive goddesses, seen a child survive with her heart removed and the remnants of long dead civilisations and creatures thought extinct.

Through strange arcane rites they have opened a possible path home, but at the cost of a radiant creature’s divinity and the abduction of one of their number.
With the agents of the Black Pharaoh and an angry Imhotep at their heels can they escape to civilisation or will the visions of the future some saw at the start of the exhibition come true leaving them lost for all time?

More importantly have they really run out of gin and will their own hubris damn them to an eternity as playthings of the dark forces haunting their every turn?

Find out in this rip-roaring conclusion to the first season of Jurassica!
