Land Without A King is EYELarp’s tale of the time of waning magic and the rise of Christianity, between the reigns of Uther and Arthur.

The land is a dangerous place. It is a time of anarchy, when many choose to persecute others, but some brave souls fight for justice and the virtues of a greater good.

Drawing on the look and feel of the first 30 minutes of John Boorman’s classic Excalibur, and the writings of Sir Thomas Malory, Land Without A King centres upon Knightly Retinues – for without his Comitatus, the Knight is nothing. Not every player is a knight, or a liegeman; but being part of a retinue – a valiant, victorious and virtuous retinue – is a the surest path to status.

And status is everything.
