Our home site is at Eversley, near Fleet in Hampshire. We’re about 10 minutes away from the M3.
The site is within a 65 acre block of mixed terrain with silver birch, pine and rhododendron forest. With natural hills and a sweeping valley that passes around its heights, Eversley is a great location for LARP events – and new environments and sets are being added all the time – most notably our Viking Village, Wild West Town and Medieval Hill Fort!
During the winter the evergreens provide cover and shelter from the wind, and in the summer the whole site gets a jungle flavour with ferns growing up. The silver birch areas are clear all year round and make for natural breaks in the ground.
To find the site, look for signs to the CEMEX Quarry. Go straight on the (unpaved) road and keep going for 0.9 miles, passing through the large metal forest gate 0.2 miles from the quarry. The combination code for this gate will be posted in the facebook group for the event and sent out by email in advance – the forest gate must be kept locked unless manned!
Where there is a choice, choose the slight bend to the right but basically keep straight – you’ll think you’ve gone too far…..eventually you’ll see the camp entrance on the right in amongst the trees.
From the M4:
Leave the M4 at Junction 11 (Reading Central) and take the A33 dual carriageway southbound towards Basingstoke.
Continue for 4 miles when you will come to a roundabout. Turn left onto the B3349 towards Hook and Bramshill, continue for ¾ mile to the next roundabout and then turn right, still on B3349 with the Police College signposted. You will pass Wellington County Park entrance and a Heckfield village sign, then at the next roundabout turn left onto B3011 again following the Police College signs. ½ mile later, bare left following the Police College (Heavy Vehicles) sign, continue for another 3 miles, passing the Bramshill village sign and the Hatch Gate public house, then turn right. At the end of the road (A327) turn left and then loop around the roundabout to head back the way you came, sign posted for the M3, Aldershot and Farnborough. Follow this road for 1½ miles. You will pass the green shipping containers of a self-storage centre on the right and JDB Garden fencing on the left, you will then see on your right the entrance to the CEMEX Quarry and Gunman Airsoft Eversley.
We have a sister site, Gunman Eversley “Camp Bravo” next door to the self- storage centre, which is used primarily for Airsoft events. This will not be the site used if the event is listed as happening at “Gunman Airsoft Eversley” – please continue on and take the second exit into the CEMEX quarry and follow the directions above.
From the M3/A30:
Leave the M3 at junction 4a and take the A327 heading towards Yately/Reading. You will pass MOD Minley Manor. At the roundabout junction with the A30 turn left, heading towards Blackbushe. Follow this road for 2 miles, and you will come head straight over the mini roundabout at the entrance to Blackbushe airport. Follow the road for 500 yards, and turn right at the roundabout, following signs posted for Eversley and the A327. After about a mile and on your left you will see the entrance to the CEMEX Quarry. If you see the self-storage centre on your left you have gone too far!
We have a sister site, Gunman Eversley “Camp Bravo” next door to the self-storage centre, which is used primarily for Airsoft events. This will not be the site used if the event is listed as happening at “Gunman Airsoft Eversley” – please turn around where possible and take the turning into the CEMEX quarry and follow the directions above.
