This is a catered game – a simple lunch is provided in-game on the Saturday, and dinner is available buffet-style throughout Saturday evening.
Breakfast is served both Saturday and Sunday mornings before time-in, running later on the Sunday due to a possible late finish on Saturday night!

Story So Far

The Emperor Hadrian has decreed a wall shall be built on the Frontier – between the Glorious Empire of Rome and the Barbarians beyond of the unconquered Calidonii.

The IX Legion, called Hispania after long service stationed in the Iberian Peninsular, wait at the furthest, darkest, coldest point of the Empire. Five Cohorts marched north, accompanying engineers – both Briton and Roman – who will appraise the route of the new Emperor’s great work. Five Cohorts marched east, to gather the resources necessary and begin the project – all 2000 soldiers, be they trained in trade or simply labour.

The XI Auxilliary Cohort of the IX, wait. Stationed at Cilurnum, they wait. In the last days of the Roman year, and with the troops increasingly restless, Tribune Lucius Saturninus declares a holiday. Back home they’d be celebrating the holy day of Lupercalia – why not here? The Priests of the Luperci were summoned from Iboracum, and the celebrations would soon begin…
